Nikon D3300 to be Announced January 7, 2014

The Nikon D3300 will be announced on January 7, 2014. The follow-up to the Nikon D3200 will incorporate new features similar to those on the Nikon D5300. It is expected to include built-in WiFi and GPS, as well as an advanved 24.2MP digital sensor. The EXPEED 4 processing engine may also make its appearance in the new D3300. The advanced capabilities of this processor include video at 60p fps at full 1080 HD resolution.
The entry-level DSLR will also include the new 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G DX lens. This kit lens has been updated to provide increased sharpness and performance for Nikon’s DX DSLR lineup. The announcements come during the week of the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
